Project 50, 35 of 50. Fifty faces, with my 50mm lens, in 50ish days.
This is Dave. I can honestly say Dave is my favorite uncle for two reasons. The first is that Dave is my only uncle. The second is that I’m sure he would be even if my parents both had large family’s. My wife has a million Uncles, and my kids also have a million Aunts and Uncles. Me? Just one. I’ve always wished I had the chance to spend more time with Dave in my life. While growing up he lived in Utah, while I was in Detroit. We saw them on our once a year trip to the old west. A few random things I know about Dave. He will do anything for anybody, quietly. I’ve never, ever seen him not happy. He loves trains. He was always my train uncle.
I went square with this shot. I like the square format but I often over look it. I enjoy doing much of my cropping in camera, and since I gave up my Hasselblad over a decade ago, I don’t “see” in square anylonger. I need to. Let me know if you think this crop works for you.
