Project 50, 21 of 50. Fifty faces, with my 50mm lens, in 50 days.
Yesterday you met Tanner and I mentioned my son Kiel, today meet Kiel. Kiel is my son. He just got married last week. Kiel has moved across the country with us a few times over the last decade. In his 4 years of high school, he attended 4 different schools. In Utah, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and California. He was never happy about the moves, but he ended up loving every place we lived, and made great friends.
In this picture I played around with “clarity”. Most portrait photographers are generally trying to make as pleasing a photo as possible. In order to better understand what that means, and how to increase my skills to the ninja level, I’ve been playing the other direction and making pretty harsh photos. Anyway, Kiel can deal with it. He can take being harsh in this one.
