Project 50, 23 of 50. Fifty faces, with my 50mm lens, in 50 days.
This is Max. I’ve known a lot about Max over the last year or so because his Mother has blogged about him. I met him face to face for the first time this last week. He is very, very cute, and a great kid. His Mother is my wife’s cousin (so my cousin-in-law? is there such a thing?) Max was born with a cleft lip but you would have no idea looking at his cute face now. If you want to learn more about him check out his Mother’s blog and updates about his surgery last year.
I’ve been at a family reunion for the last week. Turns out the mountain camp and “resort” were we held this had no internet, no cell coverage – no connection to the outside world. I left a few times and drove to a golf course where there was a hot-spot to try to connect (and take a break from Family). We had a great time, and I’ve got some good portraits of family that I will be working on over the coming days. As for this current project, I got a bit behind. I’m just going to pretend that didn’t happen and keep plugging along till I get to 50. Then I will be looking for more project ideas I guess.
