This is another shot of Samantha. I wasn’t planning on shotting her again so quickly and posting another of her. I was working outside testing and practicing with my off camera strobe work. I need to increase my confidence in the use of my 580exII’s off camera in outside settings. I was using Sam as my model. As you can tell from her expression she is not happy about it.
The downside with this image as a strobe test is I really didn’t use the strobes in this shot. I did have one bare 580exII behind Samantha a bit camera right just hitting the top of her head. My purpose today was just to test the equipment, find it limits and see what it can do. Confidence still needs to be built. Maybe next weekend for that.
