Francine

Project 50, 47 of 50. Fifty faces, with my 50mm lens, in 50ish days.

This is Francine. She may not like that I chose this picture of her to post, but I really liked her expression. I asked her to sit down and started to shoot. She was not sure why she was sitting there until I had already taken a few shots. I then had to convince her to stay for a few seconds so I could finish. As you can tell from her face, this is from the early part of the shooting, she had no idea what was going on. She is a cousin to my wife, but she grew up on the other side of the country from my wife so they didn’t see each other that often. I’ve mentioned before the big difference in family size that my wife had compared to me. On the one hand I have 5 sisters so I had a big immediate family, but only two Aunt’s, one married one did not,and only 2 cousins. My wife (and my kids for that matter) have so many cousins I’m not sure I could count them all. Weird.

3 more to go . . .

Valerie - Great expression!
I hope she won't be mad with you.
