Project 50, 43 of 50. Fifty faces, with my 50mm lens, in 50ish days.
This is Nina. I posted a picture of Helena a while back and this picture was actually where that one started. Nina was getting her hair done at the same time as I. She had the foil things in her hair that are used when coloring is being used, I think. My hair is pretty simple, no colors or foil or other fun things. Anyway, I took a few pictures of Nina with the foil, and then again when she was just about done. I wanted to catch the colors in her hair and focus on the streaks. When I got home I ended up liking the picture of Helena better. I liked the skin tone I was able to get as well as the way she was looking directly at the camera. Today I went back for a second look at Nina and like this one as well. Tell me what you think. I don’t normally shot portraits or pictures like this one, so I’d love to hear what you think. Don’t worry, you can’t hurt my feelings . . . .
