Over the next week I’m going to focus on taking and posting pictures of my youngest child, Samantha. This is something that I want to start doing a couple times a year or so. I hope to document in a bit more detail my kids as they grow up. One portrait doesn’t always get it, so be giving each person a full week or so of work, I hope to be able to capture more about them. Samantha is moving from being a child to being a beautiful young lady. Right now, she has the qualities of both.
Samantha is 12 years old. In those 12 years of life I’m pretty sure she has read more then I have in my entire life. I asked her about this reading of Harry Potter – it is at least her third time through. When I asked her why she is reading it again, her answer was, “because I finished the last one.” I had to ask again telling her I meant why is she reading any of them again, and she didn’t have an answer, “I just am.” I guess that is a sign of a good book.

Valerie Ardini - Haha
Yes, that ís the sign of a good book. I agree with her. I read them.. oh, 6 times at least.. I lost count. Same with other good books. I keep reading them over and over. They never get boring.
Valerie Ardini - Ah I forgot to say.. I love how you chose to focus on the book. Makes it more interesting and somehow obvious that she's very concentrated on that book.
