Welcome to 2010. I’ve decided to try to post a picture a day this year. No promises, but I’m going to give it my best shot. I will take photos, and process photos every day, but for those of you who want to skim meta data on the pictures I may not post the picture the same day I take it. Let’s just start out and see what happens.

For picture number one I started out with something that I don’t normally do. A flower picture. Part of the reason for doing this is to learn, practice, get better and push my own creative envelope. So, I figured I should start out that way. This is also a lensbaby shot, taken with my brand spanking new macro kit for it. That was a Christmas present from the best person in the world, my wife. Anyway, wish me luck and hope you enjoy it as much as I will.
