I really want to get good at diptychs. I don’t feel like I am right now, but I’m working on it. I like this one. I also have to say that I love where we live right now. I hope we never need to move again. I grew up in Detroit, lived in Park City, Utah (a ski resort), Rhode Island, Boston, New Hampshire, Orange County, CA, and now in Ventura County, CA. The weather is amazing, the people are great, and we are 15 minutes to places like in this picture year round. I feel very, very lucky to have a chance to live here.

Both of these shots are taken with my lensbaby muse with the wide angle attachment. I’m a little worried that I can’t find my aperture inserts so I’m stuck at f8 right now. I may need to order new ones, I’m been looking for a long time. The lensbaby is fun and the muse forces you to shot quickly with out too much planning. It is nice to work from the tripod and then take it off and be a be more free.

I’m itching for some more portraits. Any volunteers our there???
