Still a bit sick today so I’m not all here, but I’m on the down hill slide of this flu thing I hope. Today I was working on some portraits of my daughter when Tigger (the dog in the picture) came outside. How could I not take his picture here? It also gave me a chance to play around in LAB mode a bit, I’m trying to get more comfortable working with those curves. I like the toning ability you can have there. More to come.

Jon - Thanks Turnbill – I think you are right – after all my commands he finally just gave up and waited. 🙂ReplyCancel

Turnbill - Great shot Jon. He looks like he's resigned to you taking his photo. Great use of dof.ReplyCancel

Claus Petersen - I just love the shallow depth here, the way it enhances the eyes really gives the dog presence!ReplyCancel

Jon - Oh, how nice Christa! Thank you! He has some cheese sitting just in front of him out of the camara's reach. He is very good at the "wait" command. It is fun to be cruel with that command sometimes and just make him stare at something he wants. Great fun for cruel masters like me.ReplyCancel

Christa Watson - HOLY CRAP this is an AWESOME photo Jon! How did you ever get him to stay still to have a 1.4 ap?? Crazy pup! I tried to take a pic of my SLEEPING cat the other day and it's like he instinctively knew and woke up and ran away lol. I really really love this shot!ReplyCancel
