Do you remember a few days ago I showed you the little hummingbird sitting on her eggs in the nest right outside my back door?? See it here. Well, the eggs have hatched and the babies are here. The mother is very protective and is there with them much of the time. At least in the morning and evenings when I’m home to check on them. The little ones look like they will not be in that little nest much longer. I wonder if they are one of those birds that come back to nest the same place each year??
