This is a 4 exposure HDR, and a long exposure, taken at one of my favorite places on earth, Black Point Beach in The Sea Ranch, CA. I took this one over a year ago, but I never processed it. When I’m there I take hundreds and hundreds of photos and then I love working on them for years to come. It is my way of continuing my vacation over a very extended period of time. After a stressful week I can pull up older images from my favorite places and work or rework them.
I also am a bit of a image hoarder. Hard drives are so cheap, I keep pretty close to everything I shoot. I fear that as soon as I delete an image I will want some part of it for a composite or texture or something else. Maybe I need therapy.
