There is beauty everywhere.

Our job is to see it. That sounds simple, but a lifetime of work goes into recognizing and appreciating what is right in front of us everyday.

I’m easily distracted and create new obsessions out of life’s many tangents.

Looking for something new every day. Trying to find beauty in the simple. Becoming too involved in new things. Creating more. Sharing more.

Capturing the Real Person.

For many years, I’ve created photographs with people. At times professionally, at times for fun. These may be my favorite way to use my camera. For someone, these pictures will mean everything to them, and will last many lifetimes. That is pretty cool.

Photowalks.

It is not as much about the camera, as it is about using my eyes to find fascinating things in places often missed. It might be the light, the colors, the humor, or anything. If I get a good picture even better.

Urban, rural, landscapes, houses, alone or in groups. Love getting out to just look around and be creative.

Birds and Wildlife.

This is a new one for me. My wife and I accidently fell into birding. This has become one of my new artistic obsessions. I’m still figuring out what makes a great picture - I may take a lifetime to do so.

Family, faith, fun, creativity, art, TV, movies, music - these are the things that make a life worthwhile. That and a few random obessions and tangents to keep things interesting.
